No Identity
We never ask for your name, identity, profile, gender, date of birth, email, mobile,
contacts, location or any personally identifiable information.
Our users are anonymous to us at all times and their identity protected even from us.
When you enter any asset data, it stays encrypted with your private key, riddles and
system-generated vault key and other keys created uniquely for each user.
No Cookies
We do not use any cookies to track users or their data for any purpose.
We do not profile them nor use any third party analytics for this purpose.
It is for this reason that riddlock is one of the rare apps that does not prompt you
to accept cookies on signup or any time after.
As such, we go beyond privacy laws and regulations to protect our users online.
No Leakage
Apps can offer a "forgot or reset password" feature only when they have your email id, mobile number
or other personal contact. Since we have none of these, it is impossible for us to provide this feature.
What you can do is create a passwords sheet and connect it privately with a trusted user,
like your partner, spouse, family or friend, who also has account.
They can help you in case you forget your private key or riddle,
but be aware that they too can then access your account.
No Intrusion
Many apps intrude your device to capture your contacts, location and other settings.
In most cases, they do it without your knowledge or clear understanding. Some do it even without your explicit consent.
Riddlock never tracks any personal data on your device nor does it capture your device id.
The only access we need is to your files storage so that you are able to upload important documents into your riddlock account.
No Advertising
The natural outcome of having no user identity, cookies, tracking or profiling is zero advertising, now and in the future.
We do not subscribe to any advertising in our app to make your experience smooth and non-intrusive.
You must however note that the device or browser you use may be tracking your profile and data when you use any app,
including riddlock.
